People spend more money when they are stoned; This may not be true 100% of the time for most people who smoke, it is often the case. The higher someone gets, the more outgoing and gregarious they become, plus much more appreciation to spend money; however, as the director of the medical cannabis dispensary, it was my task to figure out new ways to keep people hanging around plus shopping in my store. There are multiple dispensaries in the neighborhood these days, plus competition runs legitimately high (no pun intended). Most of my customers come in sober, buy their medical cannabis, plus then go to a house to smoke it, however I just wanted them to hang out plus get stoned here, so they would be more likely to purchase additional cannabis supplies… For that to happen, the customers needed a reason to stick around. I started with some games, cards, dice, plus an old Sega video console hooked up to wall mounted TV, so people had something to do while they ate edibles plus smoked medical cannabis… Both of us didn’t have a liquor license either, however the two of us had a drink cooler stocked with water, tea, soda, plus cannabis infused drinks. It wasn’t about trying to get more money out of most people, the goal was to turn the medical cannabis dispensary into an endpoint spot, to make people want to come hang out here. The profits for the cannabis dispensary are important, however what is just as important is putting down roots in this community, plus to build a loyal patron base that the two of us will serve for years to come.
