I have to say I have seen a huge upswell in the amount of people playing role playing games recently. Especially Dungeons and Dragons, which is the most popular role playing game of all time. I think it has to do with the tv show Stranger Things, because I have seen the show and it makes role playing games seem way cooler than they really are. Although I don’t play these kind of games personally, I do have a quiet respect for the people that do. As the manager of a cannabis dispensary and a smokers lounge, I will admit that Dungeons and Dragons has been terrific for my business! These gamers just need a table and some time and they can create incredible adventures, and when it can be fueled by legal cannabis it is all the more fun! I actually had to make a special night in the smokers lounge where smoking cannabis wasn’t allowed. That may sound counterintuitive, but many of the gamers liked to use cannabis edibles or vape pens, and the excess smoke bothered them. If I had more money I would build a partition in the lounge and ban cannabis smoke on one side, but I don’t have the money right now. I have to give the gamers priority status, because every time we host a game night the cannabis sales are through the roof! A gaming session might take 4 or 5 hours, and through most of that time these people are buying cannabis drinks or new vape carts. Anything to keep them coming back.
