I workout for about an hour every morning.

Even if I’m busy, stressed, tired or not feeling well, I take the time to workout. It’s important to me that I maintain a healthy weight and focus on strength, balance and flexibility. I sometimes run, ride my bike, swim or kayak as a workout. I often complete various types of lunges, squats, burpees and jumping jacks. One of my favorite workouts is jumping rope. It’s a great way to work the entire body and build stamina. I tend to overwork my legs. The muscles frequently become sore, and I have problems with cramping in my calves. I’ve tried over-the-counter ointments. I’ve taken Aleve and wrapped heating pads around my legs. I finally found relief from the pain when I shopped at the local cannabis dispensary. I explained my issues to the budtender, who suggested cannabis-infused topicals. He recommended CBD-dominant products, and I was surprised by how many there are to choose from. The dispensary carries a wide selection of topicals, including bath bombs, soaks, ointments, lotions, roll-ons and sprays. Since they cause no psychoactive effects, they can be applied multiple times per day. There is no maximum dosage. Plus, I can use the CBD topicals along with other consumption methods to treat my muscle cramps from the inside and the outside. I’ve found that a combination of transdermal patches, ointments and tinctures provides effective relief. I’ve also added more stretching to my workouts, a longer cool down and I have days where I rest my legs and concentrate more on the upper body.
