My partner walked into the house last week and told me that her doctor recommended CBD for her anxiety.
He said the anxieties were not so high that he would recommend anything stronger than CBD.
He felt the CBD would help her relax. Her doctor thought that if she relaxed a bit more, she should be able to deal more easily with things that were going on in her life. I thought it was amazing that he recommended CBD instead of some of the over-the-counter and prescription drugs that they have. Too many of these new drugs had not been tested well enough to know how they would affect some people. When I hear the advertisement saying that if you feel suicidal, quit taking the drug, I shiver. You are taking a drug for anxiety, which could cause you to be suicidal, so why would they give you something that could enhance that feeling? Knowing that he felt CBD was more than enough for her, made me may have more faith in her new doctor. I loved her dearly, but I didn’t want to see her suffering with anxieties so often and so badly. If CBD was going to be what helped her, I was going to welcome it. Maybe we could get back to baking cookies together, going to the movies, and having fun, if her anxieties were under control with the CBD. Had I known CBD was going to help, I would have gone to the pharmacist and asked about it for her two years ago. Her anxiety may not have worsened.
