When Jen and I were out west, we made a decision to go on a tour of a microbrewery.
This microbrewery had been working on a cannabis inspired beer.
The beer is brewed with cannabis so the flavors are strong and each of the 12 oz glasses has 15 mg of thc, i thought the cannabis beer sounded quite interesting. When Jen and I had the opportunity to try a sample, I was at the front of the line. I expected the beer to have just a hint of cannabis to it. I officially use recreational marijuana daily, so I know what the odor and flavor profile is. The cannabis infused beer did not taste at all like real marijuana. I was very disappointed by the horrible taste of the cannabis infused beer, some of the other folks thought it was good, although I could tell there were some people that agreed with me too. It wasn’t a winner in our book. When Jen and I were getting ready to leave the tour, the men provided us with a comment card and asked us to leave tips and suggestions. Jen and I told them the truth about their cannabis infused beer. I did not savor it and I did not believe it tasted savor cannabis. I thought they missed the mark on that 1, although I loved all the kinds of microbrews that we tasted and I took home a couple of 12 packs from the chilly cooler, and my favorite of the craft brews was a crisp, light ale with citrus and cider and a hint of Bartlett pear. I thought it was easy to drink and light and refreshing.
