When I was a kid, my mom told me that I was going to break my leg doing something stupid. I was constantly trying to do different tricks on my bike and my skateboard. I had bruises, cuts, and scrapes on my arms and my legs. I spent the whole day outside riding my bike and my skateboard and I didn’t come home until the end of the day when the street lights were on. Even as an adult, I still enjoy the same activities that I did when I was younger. I go to the skatepark every weekend with my son and we both enjoy skateboarding and doing BMX tricks. I was doing something really stupid a month ago when we went to the skate park and I ended up breaking my leg. I took my bike from the top of the ramp and attempted to do a backflip. I completely misjudged the amount of room that I had for the flip and over rotated. I landed with the bike on top of my leg and I needed surgery to fix all of the damage. Two of the bones in my leg had to be replaced with a metal rod. While in the hospital, I had a private room. My room had a shower, toilet, bed, large screen tv, and access to the temperature controls on the bed. The bed had a thermostat for the heating and AC system and I could adjust the temperature up and down by the touch of a button. It was very convenient to have the temperature control at my fingertips.
