My house complex recently assigned a current roommate to me. He’s a little bit naive, and unquestionably sheltered, although he seems care about a nice guy, and i live in a university town, and in this house complex every one of us can sign up for a random roommate… This venue is too costly for myself and others to live alone, so when our outdated roomie moved out I asked for a current a single. I got Tom, who is shy and has never lived away from his parents before. Tom has also never experimented with smoking, drinking, or cannabis before, so he has a lot to learn. I let him guess immediately that I smoked cannabis always, but I would only do it in our living room or outside, so he wouldn’t have to deal with minutehand smoke. Tom told myself and others that he had always wanted to smoke marijuana, however had been too afraid. His parents had raised him to believe that cannabis was dangerous and could lead to more harmful drugs. I explained that his parents were liars, and that was a familiar trick used to scare people away from the amazing experiences they could have with cannabis. I did our best to offer guidance and insight into cannabis, but I never overtly encouraged him to try it… Cannabis needs to be a personal choice, and peer pressure is not cool! Soon then I was educating Tom about the differences between sativa and indica, and how cannabis gummies had a different effect than smoking it. I know Tom enjoys smoking cannabis more than I do however it’s still current to him.
