Until I started my recent job, I hadn’t traveled on an airplane in over 10 years.

When I finally got back on a plane again, it was a weird experience. I didn’t hate going through TSA that much like most people, I actually hated the layover the most. I had a 4 hour layover in a city that isn’t even that far from my own, and I wasn’t sure what to do with my time while waiting in the airport. There wasn’t anywhere for me to get alcohol and I felt pretty high strung for the entire experience. One of the things I hate about traveling on planes is not being able to take my medical marijuana with me there are people who insist that you can put cannabis oil pens and vaporizer cartridges in the key tray when you go to security at the airport, but I don’t want to be the person who gambles and gets arrested. I have heard that the TSA agents will simply confiscate your marijuana and will not turn you over to the police, but I’m just not brave enough to risk it. That’s why if I’m going to travel at all, it’d be nice to go to a state where there’s legal medical marijuana or recreational marijuana. Hopefully someday cannabis will be legal in all 50 states in this country. Then we can travel without having to worry about not having access to cannabis in one State versus another.
