I had felt as if my full-time task wasn’t being a company employer, but calling my website development and design team to make changes constantly. I have worked as an employer at the same cannabis dispensary for over three years now. I thought my task would be much easier once I had a skilled team and my online marketing team knew what I expected. Lately, there have been a ton of changes in how Max and I do business, and due to the pandemic, Max and I had to change how my buddy and I did business. I needed to call the online marketing contractor to have them change our lobby rules. Max and I needed to let people know there was no contact delivery and option up. Max and I opened a drive-thru window so people didn’t need to come into the dispensary; Every time another small change came through from the parent corporation, I had to notify my online marketing corporation. I finally snapped and asked my boss why the parent contractor didn’t put the info out to the online marketing contractor and have them do the changes for us. I was quite sure the parent contractor knew who did all the marketing for his franchises. He said it was always up to the employer. Now I had to make changes because Max and I were offering delivery services. It was going to be easier for shut-ins, because they could go on the site and get all their marijuana products. Max and I would send someone out to give their marijuana products. I liked this was something new Max and I were offering, but I felt like a nuisance to our online marketing corporation, because they were starting to learn who I was just from the sound of my voice.
